Education
USF launched the MNA program at the College
of Professional Studies in 1983 as the first degree program
of its kind. It is internationally recognized as one of the leading
professional education programs in the field. It is an accredited
graduate degree program designed for mid-career adults who continue
to work full-time in the nonprofit sector while studying for the
MNA year-round, one course at a time. USF offers the MNA on its
campuses in San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and Sacramento.
Master of Nonprofit Administration
The MNA degree program prepares experienced adults for management
and leadership roles in the independent sector. It is designed for
students already working in nonprofit corporations, foundations,
voluntary associations, community organizations, or nongovernmental
organizations. Students generally attend classes once a week at
times convenient for working adults. The MNA program has recently
expanded to two regional campuses, Santa Rosa and Sacramento.
